Well in the 1980's it seemed if your mom and dad were listening you got Optimus Prime or Megatron for Christmas,

If your Mom just did not understand maybe you ended up with a Go-bot yes that toy you were looking forward to ended up being a orange truck , hey mom !!

Thats not Optimus Prime how many kids did this happen to in the 80's ,
to be honest i liked Gobots infact i owned several and i actually maybe the only kid in the world who preferred his silver grey Go-bots Porsche over his friends Jazz Porsche ,

The silver go bot looked cool and was easier to transform, basically Go-Bots whilst made by Bandai a major company were known as the fake transformers you or your mom maybe were called tramps for having one by other bully kids , kids can be so nasty, well i was a tramp then,

I loved Go-Bots proud to say so, and yes i even had the base the total rip of of the Star Wars AT-AT but people did not own a transformers base,,,unless you were lucky and had fortress maximus which no one i knew did,

Anyway that's my take on Go-Bots the toy you were bullied for having as a kid!!! what a great tag line for a toy series. i actually know a fair few kids would put transformers logo stickers on them lol.
