Gama models originally were delightful vintage model cars made in west Germany the earlier examples came in really nice domed plastic display boxes but later on they adopted the cheaper matchbox models of yesteryear type window box,

These Gama models were nice as nice as the matchbox vintage cars but tend to command better prices on the collectors market due to being harder to find and the matchbox models plentiful on the internet and at toy fairs,

In the 1990's Gama produced several stunning models in conjunction with Vauxhall and Opel motors producing very nice 1:43 scale road cars that are extremely popular with code 3 enthusiasts who enjoy turning them into police cars.
