originally made by Palitoy in Leicester in the uk, then under the kenner brand and now the Hasbro brand, so i will just tell some unusual stories.

Legend goes that Palitoy had so much unsold overstock there is a landfill site with container loads of figures dumped in the Leicester area ,

This is rumour but i believe it could be true as a dealer living near Leicester the amazing finds i have had including prototypes grey coloured imperial snow troopers some weird toy related stuff turns up in the midlands,

I not long back was at a pub auction and ended up with a box full of prototype action force figures made by the same company,

Unsure why but a hell of a lot of Kenner/Hasbro stuff turns up near me i have bought hand drawn carded transformers at a car boot i kid you not.

I know the first ever Transformers were given away in Birmingham to see what feedback was, accordingly they were blue racing cars and go for a fortune,

England had a famous history with toys and its pretty surprising what turns up, i saw a empty trade box for star wars at-ats covered in bird droppings fetch a few hundred pound not long back,
