Tomica basically is the Matchbox toys of Japan and there quality was just as good as matchbox ,

Honest i love the 1970's models , the 1980's models look a bit similar to hot wheels but there quality is amazing metal casts and chassis.

Some of my highest ever sales I've achieved in my 25 years of selling diecast models have come from Tomica sales I've listed on eBay, there are some very rich collectors who appear to pay anything to get a rare obsecure model they don't own,

The Rarest or should i say highest prices i have got for Tomy models are for there larger Dandy line these are similar in size the the corgi models of the 1980's they made British mini models in various designs and a great range of Toyota Landcruisers and buses,

I highly recommend anyone to collect tomica there boxes , models, quality and rarity compared to Matchbox and Hot Wheels is just some appealing as a collector i love this company but to be honest most diecast from Japan is of the highest quality.
