Herpa models were originally very highly detailed high end model vehicles designed for Train lay-outs so are in Ho 1:87 scale made in Germany so quality is Assured

personally Herpa are amongst My favourite model brands i think mainly its because they produce models in plastic not die cast so tend to be more realistic and more precise than diecast models,

Before i had children i owned a vast collection of these models i would buy from auction houses such as vectis.co.uk, they are similar to Brekina and Wiking models ,
In recent years Herpa have made 1:43 scale models such as can be seen in my above video, these are the most precise realistic models i have seen and whati mean by this is they look accurate unlike diecast examples which are still good but put a Herpa Ferrari next to a Minichamps Ferrari and the Herpa one will look much more real in appearance

Herpa airplanes in the among aviation fans leading collectors and model building scales 1/500 and 1/200 live up to their big originals in quality, design and fascination. At Herpa, collectors of other scales too, for instance 1/400 or 1/1000 will find a nice model selection for their hobby.
